Chicago’s Restaurant Week 2023

Restaurant Week in Chicago is one of our favorite times of the year! Here you can get the details on where to dine out in Chicago during restaurant week including our recommendations.

For 15 years Chicago restaurants have celebrated Restaurant Week by offering prix fixe menus. It takes place for just over 2 weeks across the city and in the suburbs.  You’ll find multi-course meals are $25 for brunch or lunch, and $42 and/or $55 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax, gratuity, and delivery fees). 

Tomorrow kicks off with First Bites at the Field Museum. This year’s celebrity chef is Darnell Reed of Luella’s Southern Kitchen in Lincoln Square and benefits Kitchen Possible and the James Beard Scholarship Foundation. Restaurant Week is a great way to get out and explore new cuisines, neighborhoods that are new to you and enjoy a quiet dinner or a night out with friends. It runs January 20 – February 5th.

Here are menu selections for our top 3 picks for Lincoln Park:

Gemini’s Warm mushroom toast, Sea Scallops with cauliflower-almond purée; Brekshire pork chop with roasted apples, red cabbage, bacon and whole grain mustard and finish with Key Lime curd with graham cracker crumble and coconut whipped cream. Prix fixe $59 and Brunch is offered at $25.

BOKA’s Grilled beets with yogurt, caraway and endine; Slow Cooked Icelandic Cod with cauliflower, Chinese brocolli and daikon and finish with Winter Citrus dessert, with coconut and almond. Prix fixe $59, wine pairings $40

Riccardo Enoteca’s So hard to pick the first course Fried Zucchini Blossoms or Porcini Soufflé, followed by Fettuccini Aragosta, Branzino Ala Limone and finish with Panna Cotta with passion fruit coulis. Prix fixe $59
