Visitor Guidelines:
 
STAY ON THE PATHS. Movement in planted areas can permanently damage delicate, rare, expensive, and/or historic plant materials or seedlings that may not be visible at the time of your visit. The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool is Lincoln Park’s only National Historic Landmark Garden—please help keep its plant community alive. 
Do not walk over or past any roped off areas or trails of the Lily Pool. 
Climbing on any of the limestone rock formations, the pavilion, the waterfall or anywhere other than the designated paths is prohibited. 
For environmental reasons, no balloon releases or throwing of petals, rice or confetti of any kind is allowed. 
No bathing, wading, fishing or other kinds of activities are allowed in the Lily Pool or waterfall. 
Do not pick or collect flowers, plants, seeds, or remove any natural elements. 
Dogs or other pets and bicycle-riding are not allowed in the Lily Pool. 
Picnics or consuming any food in the Lily Pool is prohibited. 
DO NOT feed any of the wildlife. 
Any graffiti, other vandalism or defacement of the Lily Pool, the grounds, plants, shrubs, trees, and structures will result in ejection and fines.
