Ecological stewardship goes beyond gardening—EcoStewards help support healthier habitats by participating in a variety of hands‑on fieldwork activities in Lincoln Park.
Stewardship Activities Include
Removing nuisance weeds
Planting wildflowers
Collecting, cleaning, and sowing seeds
Recording ecological data through BioBlitzes
Skills and Requirements
No prior experience needed
Closed-toed shoes required when volunteering
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older
