Earth Week EcoStewards Workday – Margate Park

Celebrate Earth Week with the Conservancy!
Participate in an EcoStewards Workday in one of three locations from Uptown to Old Town.
Complete the Earth Day sign-up form to select your preferred location.
Choose from one of three meet-up locations across the park:
– Margate Fieldhouse (BioBlitz at Uptown Natural Area & litter pick-up) 4921 N Marine Dr.
– North Pond Nature Sanctuary (BioBlitz & litter pick-up) 2501 N Stockton Dr.
– Lincoln Monument & Gardens (litter pick-up only) 1650 N Dearborn St. –
BioBlitz:
Walk the trails to collect observations using the iNaturalist app on your smartphone. No expertise or prior experience needed. To prepare, please download the iNaturalist app on your phone and create a profile so you can upload your observations during the bioblitz. And check out iNaturalist’s explainer on observations and how to record them. Results will be included in the City Nature Challenge.
Litter collection:
Walk the trails collecting litter to keep the park beautiful and safe for wildlife. Trash grabbers and buckets will be provided.
